It is quiet,
The water is serene calm
The sail boat anchored
two days to a New Year 2022
How many years have we experienced?

It is warm
The foliage on the ground, brown,
Seems just after Fall
How many years will we have?

Many people stay in
Away from the crowd, the Omicron
Many people booked and
Going for a booster shot

What have you lost, and gained?
A few souls in the boat house
Gives the perspective of Homo sapiens
Have you enjoyed your life time?

The foggy warm afternoon
The water vapor smells familiar
in China and everywhere
Another year to come
Have you cherished the ones?
