EN 202
Publishing Hemetera
Each year, students enrolled in EN 202: Publishing Hemetera work under the guidance of a dedicated faculty advisor to publicize, host events, and illicit submissions for our annual publication. These students make up our masthead (editorial board).
EN 202 is a low-credit bearing course (1/2 credit). Students meet biweekly during the Fall and Winter semesters and are responsible for Public Relations, Advertising, Content Building, Event Hosting, and other events and activities aimed at increasing the recognition of Hemetera at Regis College. In the Fall semesters, submissions are collected, and in the Winter, students work hard to review and edit those submissions, notifying writers of their inclusion into the journal, and organizing the final publication. Our “final exam” is a Launch Party, typically celebrated toward the end of the Winter Semester. We invite published writers to read and share their work in a public gathering and we celebrate our hard work in bringing Hemetera to life.
We hope to see you at one of our events!
We are now enrolling for the Spring 2026 semester!
Consider joining our masthead and helping us create our next publication of Hemetera!
