Did you have to rip off her wings?
Small, frail, delicate, such an innocent thing.
A face like the moon, partly hidden away.
Her eyes soft and warm.
Did you have to rip off her wings?
Beautiful yet attainable,
She flutters away.
Now she weeps, blistered and bloodied.
Pure and snow-white innocent now soaked in crimson red.
