Tunnel

Going through the tunnel in the morning
Dropping off my son at school
Warm feelings, running through
For three decades

Because at the end of a tunnel
It is the Logan airport
Which would take me home
on a direct flight

Ever since, I like tunnels
On Mass Pike, or 93
The tunnel is dark but has the lights!
That is the hope that excites
